This tree is a reverted Taiyo nishiki. Sometimes, variegated trees can lose their variegation and revert to the original leaf color, as is the case with this tree. The deeply divided leaves emerge with pink and yellow and mature to green in summer. Fall colors are spectacular oranges and reds. This slow growng tree will eventually reach about 8-10 ft. Sun /afternoon shade.
This photo shows the leaf shape of the general Taiyo nishiki; this tree however has no variegation.
