Orange Flame

The Orange Flame Japanese maple is an upright, strong grower, with a deeply lobed leaf. In spring, new leaves emerge orange and then turn a pleasing light green in the summer. In summer, the new second growth lights up like a flame – hence the name Orange Flame. Orange Flame has great fall color which is bright red, along with oranges and yellows. Added bonus is that the winter bark color is also orange on newer growth! Hardy. Grows 12 ft tall by 8 ft wide in 10 years. Zone 5
