Acer palmatum Hanezu hagoromo is the yellow-orange selection of the Hagoromo group of cultivars. Hagoromo means feathered which describes the shape of the leaves. Hanezu hagoromo is a bright sunny yellow with rays of orange in the spring. In summer, the leaves turn a pleasing light green and finally in fall turn yellow. Hanezu hagoromo is upright and somewhat narrow in form like the other hagomoro Acers. Growth to about 8-10′ in 10 years. Rare and unusual.
