One of the most exciting discoveries from Japan. The color of this maple is so outstanding Amagi shigure is also called Purple Passion. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 6 ft tall x 3 ft wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5.
